Volvo B20 Application
Ed at 123ignition really hooked me up! I am running a modified Volvo 2130cc with twin webers and 3 days before leaving on a 2500km road trip my distributor failed. I was desperate to make a friends wedding with our old cars and Ed was able to ship me (in Edmonton) a distributor and coil overnight! I installed it the very next day, googled a basic curve and was back on the road! While driving I was able to simply tune in the regions I needed, then update on the next pit stop. Simply incredible.

B20 Bluetooth ignition tuning as easy as 123
I Had some initial trouble getting an older preprogrammed unit working and with the additional boost from a future supercharge, I decide to grab the programmable unit new. Worth the money! This unit allowed me to dumped the factory ignition module saving some weight and now gives me tuning capabilities via a smart phone app. Once I got it installed and working it was very easy to make a timing maps and write to the unit. Quality product. Easy to use app. The only thing I wish it had was a built conversion for the pressure units in the map curve. Easy enough to convert numbers but would be nice built in. The other thing is the refresh rate in the app seems to be the standard 1 second rate. Kind of laggy on that part. Great company to worth with. Top notch customer service. Ed’s the man!

Quality great! Instructions not super clear
The unit is high quality and seems like it will last a long time. It wasn’t clear though whether the preloaded curve was the correct one for the Volvo 122s. Hi Mike They all come with a sample curve not intended for any particular vehicle. It is there to give you something to manipulate as you program your desired curve. Dedicated curves come in the switched pre programmed models.

Solved many issues
After the second condenser dies in a week and the replacement of the coil, I decided to upgrade to this as well. I am pleased with the purchase. My car has always stumbled at high revs. The ignition was apparently the culprit. It runs perfectly now. A great benefit of Bluetooth is that I can sit in the car and tune it. I would most likely not have tuned it as much without this. I would have left the timing the same. I am a lot more willing to push the settings a little because I can just reset it if I go too far. All from the comfort of the seat.

Volvo 122S programmable Dizzy
Simple to install, easy to program just by turning dial, set it and forget it. Tune up needs only wires, rotor and plugs. With old style armored cable ignition and coil can easily be installed without cutting into armored cable by using two easily placed one way diodes. I have one on each of my 4 vintage Volvos. Talk to Ed Madak! He’s a great guy!!!!

A definite improvement
After a bit of a rough start, having not been able to get the "green light", I static timed the motor, fired it up and then set the curves. Mileage has improved, the engine runs cooler, and the app is pretty good so far. I'm looking forward to seeing how this imporves.
