      These distributors just work!

      Not much worse than spending hours trying to make 50 year old mechanical parts work as they did when new. Yes, they look okay but the years of use take their toll. The quickest way to get back to factory specs is a new 1 2 3 Ignition distributor. I've now used half a dozen of them in various engines and they've all worked well. Put in a new coil while you're at it.

      This is the 5th British car that I've put one of these into and they have all been really great once I'm reminded of a few things. While it's important to set the roter to TDC of cyl 1 the distributor body can then be turned to any one of 4 different directions. Put the cap on and add the wires starting with #1 as the one the rotor is pointing to then plug in the rest of the wires in the correct firing order. I really liked the programmable one I had in my Morgan race car but it's not necessary for street vehicles. Rick I appreciate your brand loyalty. Thanks for the business Ed
