    The 123\MERCEDES-6-R-V is designed for W108, W109, W110, W111, W112, W113, W114, W123 and W130 6-cyl. engines, in the Mercedes :
    – 220
    – 230, 230S, 230SL
    – 250, 250SL, 250SE, 250CE,
    – 280, 280S, 280SE, 280SL
    – 300SE, 300SEL, 300SEb

    For Mercedes 6-cylinder engines with Bosch “D-jetronic” injection-systems order the 123\MERCEDES-6-R-V-IE.
    For older Mercedes with 6-cylinder engines before 1967 order the 123\MERCEDES-OLD-6-R-V.

    The unit offers a maximum total of 16 advance-curves to be selected by the end-user.
    Please take a look in the curve table for available advance curves.

    Mercedes – 6 – R – V = Mercedes stands for the 123ignition type 
    Mercedes – 6 – R – V = 6 stands for the number of cylinders 
    Mercedes – 6 – R – V = R stands for straight distributor cap 
    Mercedes – 6 – R – V = V stands for vacuum advance  

    WILL NOT WORK IN C MODEL CARS

      Excellent. A must have for your old Mercedes.

      One of the best improvements I’ve made to my 230SL. Engine is much smoother, more responsive, and easier to start. I’ve always felt the factory ignition systems on these mechanically injected old Mercs wasn’t really up to the task. This is a great, easy remedy.

      followed the instructions and online vide and the car started first time almost perfectly in time. took me a few tried to get the unit seated correctly.

      Seemingly an excellent no nonsense solution. I chose this unit because of its reputation and elegant simple presence under the hood. Fired up instantly and noticeably smoother. If sewing machine is what you're after, this should help. replaced a crane unit of unknown age.
