How to wire the 3pin HKZ and 123ignition
Red from 123 to 12v Terminal "B"
Black from 123 to Terminal "C" and Black/Violet Tachometer wire
Blue from 123 to ground
Yellow from 123 to a switched 12v source
Terminal "A" from HKZ to +ve side of coil
Neg -ve side of coil to ground
Suitable for engines without HKZ (CDI) unit or first generation HKZ unit ( 3 wires ).
Warning: Don't use the original HKZ (CDI) coil direct on the 123ignition.
If you want to tune your engine, or you have an engine for which there is no standard distributor available..... And you are a Windows PC user, the 123\TUNE is the answer! By connecting it to a computer, you can easily adapt the 123\TUNE to fulfill even the most demanding requirements. The unit offers two sets of curves that can be selected by placing 12 Volt on a wire from the 123\TUNE. Handy, if you're driving on two different fuels, like regular fuel with LPG or with Ethanol

This is an awesome product. I've been working on Porsche 911s since the early 70s. As long as there is no requirement for complete originality, this is the only way to go in my humble opinion. No more sticking weights or leaking vacuum cans! The price is extremely reasonable for this innovative component . I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get the most performance from their Porsche engine. Oh yeah, Ed, the representative is a joy to work with! An all-around great experience.
